FACTS ABOUT Athena
1. Zeus feared the future birth of a son by Metis, who would be the heir to his throne. The son would then remove Zeus from his throne the same way that Zeus removed his own father, Chronus, from his throne. Needless to say, Zeus felt threatened by the heir and could not conceive of yielding power. As a means of resolving this problem, Zeus devised a plan to seduce Metis while she was pregnant with Athena and take her by surprise by swallowing her. By devouring his wife, Zeus was preventing the eventual birth of a son from taking place. One day, after Zeus swallowed his wife Metis, he had a terrible splitting headache. In an effort to relieve his headache, one of Zeus sons, Hepherestus, used an ax to open Zeus' head. Once this procedure was complete, Athena sprung from Zeus' head fully grown clothed shouting her clarion cry of war.
2. Athena has 9 siblings from her farther, her half brothers are Venus, Artemis, Eileithyia, Eris, Hebe, and Persephone, and her half sisters are Demeter, Hera, and Vesta.
3. Athena had no children she was a chaste goddess (along with Artemis and Hestia) she only had pictured them in her mind when she would be attracted to a man.
4. Athena's apperence is of a young woman wearing a helmet, holding a shield, often accompained by an owl. A huge statue of Athena depicted this way once stood in the Parthenon.
5. Athena has Medusa's head on her shield because it was a tribute to her for what she has done.
6. Athena was the goddess of wisdom, war, arts and crafts; she was the adivsor to Zeus.
7. Athena symbolizes an owl because of her wisdom and nike foe god of victory.
8. Athen's intresting fact is that her gift to the greeks was the useful olive tree. The underside of the olive trees leaf is gray and when it blows off the tree and it looks like Athena's many eyes.
9. Athena's strengths are rational intelligence, a powerful defender in war but also a potent peacemaker. She was a potent peacemaker because she helped Odysseus through his journey. She made peace between the suitiors' families about Odysseus killing them.
10. Athena's weakness is- reason rules her; she is not usally emotional or compassionate but she does have her favorites (Odysseus and Perseus), such as the be legured heroes.

Dramatic Writing I Athena think that Odysseus was a very interesting man. Odysseus was strong, smart, but like dictator, and caring for the most part about his men. He tried to do his best for his men to keep them safe. When they were sailing away from Troy he tried to save as many men as he could before they sailed away. When they were sailing and then came upon the Louts Eaters and the men want to stay there instead of continuing the whole journey to there home of Ithica Odysseus made the men come on the ship and didn’t leave them there. They came upon the Cyclops and want to take his food and leave and Odysseus found a way out when the Cyclops trapped them in the cave. He was like a dictator when his men his men want to leave quietly but Odysseus keeps yelling at the Cyclops. Then he is not so much caring about his men when he knows they are going to die and he doesn’t try to save them he just watches them die. At the end of the journey when he has to fight the Suitors he has to ask Me for help to kill more men. He is going to kill many men and he has already watched many men already die. He did nothing to help nothing to say about it and he also seems to not care. He is acting as if he is a dictator because he just wants what he wants and doesn’t care what he has to do just as long as he gets what he wants.
I chose blue moving glitter text because blue represents the way her mood is from being a potent peacemaker to a goddess of war. I made this music because even though Athena is all tough when not showing feelings, she can be a smart and dependable goddess. The text because Athena is always changing her mind weather to fight and be tough or to me kind and show feelings.
